07/07/2022

Alarko Carrier was named in “Fortune 500 Turkey - 2021” list containing top 500 companies of Turkey, based on an assessment by Fortune Turkey, as part of a tradition since 2008.
Operating in the air conditioning industry for 68 years, Alarko Carrier climbed 8 places in this year’s Fortune 500 list naming most successful firms of Turkey, and ranked 425th. Noting a 60 percent increase in turnover in 2021, Alarko Carrier’s Vice President Hırant Kalataş said “in 2021, we increased emphasis on our research and development activities. We came up with projects to expand our product range. As the pioneering firm of the air conditioning industry, we increased our production and sales figures substantially in 2021, thanks to an efficient work plan and certain product-specific investments in our plant. On the other hand, we keep a close eye on the manufacturing process trends worldwide. We have a holistic perspective towards all processes starting with design and extending to production and aftermarket services. We employ a system keeping track of the product throughout its whole lifecycle starting with the design, with the help of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software as the final ring on the chain comprised of MRP, ERP and CRM software developed in line with the requirements of business processes. Thus, we are able to trace the products we design, throughout their whole lifecycle.”
Alarko Carrier will continue R&D investments
Noting their intent to achieve the targets set for the end of the year, through a more active marketing strategy for domestic as well as overseas markets, Hırant Kalataş added “since day one, as the innovative brand in the air-conditioning industry, we have been developing high technology products. In this context, our R&D team of 55 engages in joint projects and tests with universities. We will continue with our activities with a focus on development and innovation. We will achieve our targets without any compromise on our profitability, liquidity and operational efficiency in 2022 as well.”
