Last March, Alarko Carrier signed a representation agreement with Flaktwoods, which is a leading company in the indoor air-conditioning sector. Before the agreement was signed, Flaktwoods officials were contacted and the facilities in Finland were visited. Flaktwoods, with 3300 employees all over the world and representatives in 30 countries, provides 75 different countries with sales service. Flaktwoods, which was established by the merger of Woods and Flakt in 2002, is still a leader in Europe in air duct equipments and chilled beam applications. Flatwoods, which can offer air duct equipment for all applications, realizes its production at factories in Finland and Sweden. Since March, authorized personnel from Flaktwoods carry out our training activities related to the company products.

Following last month’s training on Flaktwoods diffusers, fire dampers, VAV and CAV air duct equipment, cleanvent air duct equipment, air diffusers, a new training on Chilled Beam started in May. Flaktwoods products were exhibited in the Alarko Carrier stand at the ISK-SODEX Istanbul 2010 fair. In addition, Flaktwoods Export Director Jussi Merilla presented a paper on “Sustainable Chilled Beam Design” at the 9. International HAVAC + R Technology Symposium organized by the Turkish Society of HVAC and Sanitary Engineers and was widely appreciated.
