CEPA which is still being constructed by the Celebcioglu Group, is located on the Eskişehir Way that connects Ankara to the west, this is also one of the most used roads of Ankara, it will the largest shopping mall in Ankara. CEPA has a construction area of 170.000 m² and owns a total land area of 53.192 m². The CEPA Mall will house four auto parking storey, ground floor and three shopping storey, including the Ankara’s largest and Turkey’s first two-storey Carrefour outlet, Ankara’s first and Turkey’s largest Bauhaus store and Ankara’s largest cinema complex, AFM Cinemas with 12 halls and 2000 seats.
The shopping mall owning an auto-park with a capacity of total 4000 cars, 2200 of them is indoor and 1800 are outdoor, has also the largest food court complex of Turkey with an area of 3000 m² and a seating capacity for 1800 persons. The CEPA Mall will attract attention with an extra-ordinary concept and day light controlled lighting system are applied, another important property is, the mall has the Turkey’s first colored spectrum curtainwall with an area of 4500 m². Electronic auto-park guiding system will be applied in the Mall, where all electrical and mechanical systems are controlled with automation system.
As a result of day light controlled lighting system, CEPA will provide a pleasant roominess in each hours a day; will also provide comfort with 64 air conditioning centrals and 11 new 30XA series high efficient and silent cooling systems produced in Alarko Carrier plants and 587 fan coil equipment produced in Italy. CEPA will be the capital of the shopping with elegant, pleasant and smart architecture, extra-ordinary design, shining brightly shops, spacious corridors, huge food court and selective restaurants.
Jet Fan Garage Ventilation
The exhaust gases of the motor vehicles and gases accumulated inside the indoor parking places create a serious risk for human health. Indoor car parking areas can be harmfully and fire potentially places due to inefficient ventilation systems. The innovative jet fan system with a lot of applications made in Europe, provides reliable solutions. Garage ventilation will be applied with Flaktwoods brand jet fans in CEPA. The system with 73 jet fans and 12 axial fans will perform the ventilation of 3 garage storey. This system brings an advantage in the investment cost and reduces energy consumption by operating to CO level. Since there is no need for channel usage, no space inside the garage is occupied. System will be modelled very similar to the real application, by the help of the simulation program study (CFD) provided with the ventilation solution. System will be applied by Alarko-Carrier first time.
